Challenge
The brief was to design a 125 room hotel creating accommodation for sports teams and travelling patrons from surrounding regions to generate more income for the club.
Solution
WMK has created a stunning arrival experience with a grand bronze porte-cochere. The canopy provides a focal point for the arrival experience and accommodates large coaches. The hotel offers accommodation over five levels and includes a covered walkway link to the existing club amenities.
Outcome
When complete, the design will stamp the St Marys Rugby League Club firmly in the heart of the community, providing much-needed accommodation for the region.
