Challenge
To design a highly efficient and effective new Aged Care facility that accommodates the Client’s unique care philosophy purchased adjacent to the Client’s existing facility.
Solution
Positioned around a large open resort greenspace, WMK designed a new linear facility that hugged to site boundaries. The planning and building mass is broken down in to ‘big houses’ of thirty residences complete with their own building space that looks out to the central green. Feature glazed entry welcoming guests and visitors and opens out with a cafe to the resort green.
Outcome
A unique resort style Aged Care living environment that will give the Client the edge in a competitive market and be a highly productive asset for the future of business.
