Challenge
Space&Co, part of the GPT Group, is a premium Australian co-working offering.
Wanting to increase its floor space in its Melbourne location, Space&Co worked with WMK to extend the existing design language to create a larger space with a seamless transition between the old and the new.
In addition, WMK was asked to develop a consistent design approach for all future fit-outs for the brand.
Solution
WMK utilised Space&Co’s existing design language while challenging this through the proposal of new design elements.
The Space&Co look and feel relies heavily on stripping away the existing layers of a building to expose and celebrate the structure.
The new space features collaborative zones which celebrate the existing space and the brand alongside custom joinery and environments that support user engagement and collaboration.
Outcome
Space&Co now has a much larger offering in Melbourne that is cohesive with its brand positioning and seamlessly transitions between the old and the new. The space offers a range of collaborative zones for individuals and teams to come together and share.
