CHALLENGE

WMK have designed a luxury residential tower on the Gold Coast that aspires to entice potential owners looking to downsize their homes and enjoy a relaxed beach lifestyle. Located in the heart of Main Beach, the design takes advantage of the enviable views of the ocean, and Gold Coast Hinterland as well as offer residents’ compromised space, comfort and convenience.

SOLUTION

The sleek 32 storey tower aims to deliver an opulent beach living experience. Featuring 27 three bedroom apartments and a 2 storey four bedroom penthouse, the modern white tower draws inspiration from nature with its sculptural form and uses textured materials such as pale feature stone and granite to reference the beach surrounds.

Each apartment occupies the entire floor treating residents to ample space and arresting views at every turn. The design ensures the master bedroom and main living area overlook the ocean with a large balcony seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor living. Numerous shared facilities were incorporated into the design including a lounge area, reading room and communal kitchen and dining area for residents to entertain large groups of family and friends. A lush subtropical podium peaks out above the neighbouring buildings providing a vantage point to enjoy sea breezes while relaxing by the pool.

OUTCOME

White Main Beach is a striking residential tower that caters to all aspects of the beach lovers’ life and will appeal to owners seeking relaxation and comfort. As the first new residential development in the area for 15 years, White Main Beach will set the standard for luxury apartment living.
