Challenge
WMK was engaged by Mozac to create interiors for a new mixed-use/residential development in Burwood to assist with marketing the property.
The brief was to create stylish yet practical interiors that would appeal to the local demographic, while creating a point of difference to other new developments in the vicinity.
Solution
Stylish and practical interiors were achieved through considered material choice, design, and space utilisation.
To assist with marketing the properties, WMK created two colour schemes – a light scheme featuring a soft and textural palette of oak timbers and light Caesarstone, and a darker scheme featuring the same textures with more masculine colour tones.
Interest was created in the kitchen with the use of open shelving and waterfall stone edges, while the bathrooms include a textured feature wall utilising hexagonal tile.
Outcome
The apartments have been released to the marketplace and received exceptional feedback from the target market and local community.
The design team at WMK has been able to meet the client’s requirements, leading to further work opportunities with Mozac.
