CHALLENGE

WMK’s challenge was to design a unique luxury residential development that both maximised the incredible views of Sydney’s sky line and resonated with the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Potts Point. Muse sits on Brougham St that runs along the western face of Potts Point ridge and is nestled into a heavily landscaped rock face to the east.

SOLUTION

WMK’s design strategy looked to craft a solution revolving around three significant components. The first being ‘elevated living’ which embraces the iconic views, second, achieving a ‘respectful design’ that is sensitive to its context and pays homage to the architectural heritage of Potts Point achieving sustainable outcomes. Lastly, creating a ‘natural connection’ that celebrates the natural textures of the surroundings, from the sandstone ridge line to the shimmering waters of Sydney Harbour. 

OUTCOME

Muse comprises 13 boutique luxury apartments each thoughtfully designed with generous internal and external spaces making up a layout that highlights the panoramic outlook. The large communal roof top terrace features a plunge pool and entertaining areas offers a space to embrace the glorious, elevated views of the city, harbour and beyond.

Muse will stand out as an exquisite building that harmoniously blends history and modernity at an enviable address in the heart of Sydney.
