Challenge
This region in Sydney's Rouse Hill will soon welcome a new railway station – as a result, the area is undergoing a dramatic transformation.
The developer, CDMA, wanted to create a new community of 354 residential one, two and three bedroom units and eight townhouses on this formerly semi-rural land.
The brief was to create residences of superior design and amenity to offer a point of difference in the market.
Solution
WMK has designed an urban residential resort of low-rise garden townhouses and luxe high-rise apartments surrounded by lush landscaping.
The development has been designed with ESD in mind; access to natural light, ventilation, and thermal comfort are maximised, efficient appliances and building services are integrated, and significant landscape and deep soil have been incorporated.
Residences offer exceptional views and daylight access; the largest building has been placed along a tree-filled corridor, offering peaceful bushland views for residents while reducing overshadowing to other residents.
Outcome
The project will set new standards in the area for affordable design, quality and style. Residents will experience light-filled luxury and easy modern living that is fashionable, private and convenient to all lifestyle attractions.
This superior design is expected to have a strong appeal for the local market.
