Challenge
To upgrade the hotel interiors including guest rooms and lobby of the existing 164 rooms and suites across 11 floors, while the hotel remained operational.
Solution
WMK developed a positioning standpoint to frame the concept – ‘where Melbourne city meets Melbourne park’, and then developed unique detailing, furniture and finishes for the bold interior schemes that speak with sophisticated playfulness so identifiable with this city.
Outcome
Overlooking Treasury Gardens, the design breathes a fresh, smart city style into the hotel and gives it a unique note that portrays the city’s attitude.
