Challenge
The challenge was to reinvigorate the ground floor of HCF House – nestled between George and York Streets in Sydney’s centre – into an activated, useful space while reflecting the established, health-focused brand of HCF.
Solution
Creating a new café was part of the design solution proposed by WMK to activate HCF’s foyer.
With its prime position on this major inner-city street combined with warm and inviting interiors, the café makes the most of its all-day passing trade.
Outcome
Through creative space planning, the WMK team has turned the HCF House foyer into a vibrant and useful facility for tenants and nearby workers.
The café activates the foyer and streetscape, and has now become a bustling destination in the Sydney CBD for meeting, socialising, and working.
