Challenge
To design a significant lifetime care community development which incorporates residential aged care facilities and independent living units more akin to a five-star hotel and luxury resort.
Solution
WMK master planned and designed the development comprising 80 independent living units and 120 residential aged care suites incorporating bespoke hotel-like facilities such as a wellness centre with pool and spa, private cinemas, cafe, and a wide range of multi-function community and meeting facilities for residents, extended families, visitors and staff.
Outcome
The unique and highly innovative and aspirational lifetime care environment that a paradigm shift for ageing in place and establishes a new benchmark for design and quality of integrated lifetime care developments in Australia.
