Challenge
Analyse the built environment needs of Morgan Industrial Carbon operations, and develop a design that will meet their future vision.
Solution
Strategic analysis led to the development of a purpose-built facility at Kirby Holding’s Milperra industrial estate for their manufacturing operations and corporate office interiors. The elegant carbon-toned building emits simplicity and strength with rectilinear details utilising steel grid innovatively for shading devices.
The warehouse detail supports Morgan’s brief for a dustless environment and WMK introduced open plan workstations to engage collaboration in the office area.
Outcome
A 4,300sqm state-of-the-art building that caters for Morgan’s specific carbon equipment manufacturing needs and that occupies part of the strategic master planning that WMK devised for the whole estate.
