WMK is seeking a highly engaged and proactive Senior Interior Designer to join our Sydney team — someone who thrives on being deeply involved in the design process and driving projects forward with confidence and clarity. You’ll shape innovative workplace environments by working closely with clients, guiding teams through day‑to‑day design challenges, and staying hands‑on from concept sketching to final delivery.

This role suits a designer who loves leading by doing — actively producing design work, jumping into problem‑solving with the team, and building strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and collaborators. You’ll take ownership of projects end‑to‑end while helping grow and support the next generation of designers in our studio.

About the role

As a senior member of our interior design team, you will:

• Take a hands‑on lead in workplace projects, driving briefing, concept development, detailing, and delivery
• Work closely with junior and mid‑level designers, providing practical guidance, on‑the‑spot feedback, and day‑to‑day design direction
• Facilitate client workshops, lead presentations, and maintain active, ongoing engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate directly with consultants, contractors, and project partners to resolve issues, refine solutions, and uphold design intent
• Apply strong design thinking, workplace strategy insight, and technical capability to create purposeful, high‑performing environments
• Champion WMK’s commitment to innovative, people‑centred workplace design through hands‑on leadership and active collaboration
