On Friday 26 May, WMK hosted a ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ relatively late in the afternoon (3pm).

“The Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity to get together over a latte and enjoy some tasty treats while raising money to help the Cancer Council beat cancer,” said WMK charity group member, Loretta Nagy.

Crowd favourites included Trish’s homemade passionfruit tart, Mat’s bacon-sprinkled chocolate muffins, Kylie’s gluten-free polenta cake with rosemary infused lemon syrup and Team Charlotte, Kristelle and Alice with their classic Aussie-styled toasties.

WMK raised $300 on the day. The funds raised will help the Cancer Council continue its vital work in cancer research, prevention and support services. Cancer Council is the largest independent funder of cancer research in Australia.
