Catch WMK and Sargood on national TV at 2pm on this Saturday (with an encore at 3.30pm on Sunday).

Australia By Design Innovation (ABDI) showcases the most innovative designs in Australia – including shark repellent surfboards, solar-powered barbeques, and a life-saving smoke detector for the bush… and Sargood – a world-class accessible resort for people with spinal injuries.

Renowned architect Tim Horton has been announced as the host for 2017 alongside Dr Brandon Gien from Good Design Australia and Terri Winter Founder from Top3 by Design.

"ABDI features some of the best and brightest ideas in Australia. The series uncovers the inspirational stories behind these amazing innovations,” Dr Gien explained.

“Sargood On Collaroy shows how innovative design can make a real difference to peoples’ lives,” said WMK Managing Director, Greg Barnett.

Created to enhance the lives of individuals living with spinal cord injury, the WMK-designed Sargood on Collaroy is an accessible resort located on Sydney’s pristine northern beaches.

Sargood will feature on the first episode of ABDI this weekend. WMK’s NBCS project will feature on the second episode.
