It’s the race that stops the nation, and WMK joined in for the festivities for the Melbourne Cup.

Fascinators and hats, where bigger is better, were one of the major highlights of the day while champagne was passed around while we eagerly waited to see who was this year’s winning horse.

This year, WMK hosted a 1920s Melbourne Cup celebration, where everyone was dressed to impress around the office.

Caroline Pearce-Borg and David Macready were crowned our best dressed of the day where they took away a token prize for their iconic fashion statements.

Celebrations continued at Vicolo Café where canapés flowed while we waited for the big race. Karina Simpson and Peter Napier picked the winning horse, Protectionist, at our workplace sweeps, each taking home the grand prize.

Marking the best WMK Melbourne Cup celebration to date, we are definitely looking forward for the next ones to come.
