Mary MacKillop brings invaluable expertise and knowledge as she joins WMK as Director of Design – Interiors. 

With an impressive track record spanning over 18 years, Mary brings a wealth of expertise and creativity in the business and lifestyle sectors including hotels, hospitality, workplace and residential.  Her experience boasts a rich tapestry of impressive projects within Australia and internationally.  

Mary is dedicated to fostering meaningful user experiences by integrating materiality and detailed design consideration. Her passion for developing innovative and considered solutions pushes the boundaries of standard design principles. Drawing inspiration from human connections, Mary translates these influences into her designs, creating spaces that enhance and encourage purposeful interactions.  

Speaking on her new role, Mary said “Design is ultimately about people. It’s the connection to a client’s vision for a space that inspires me as a designer. 

I was drawn to WMK because of their focus on the client and the brief, which is exciting from a creative point of view, because it provides a freedom to create more compelling design outcomes.”
