A significant milestone was reached last week with structural completion of the two residential towers at The Quay, Haymarket. A small ‘Topping Out’ ceremony was held on the roof of the 17-storey high South Tower where WMK presented the client with a Dwarf Eucalyptus Gum tree to mark the occasion.
After an inspection of the completed prototype apartment on site, drinks and nibbles were enjoyed by the client and project team at the nearby marketing suite.
Progress continues apace on the mixed use development which is due for completion in August 2014. All but a handful of the 286 apartments are already sold along with a majority of the retail component, complete with a major supermarket as its anchor.
