WMK Architecture Director John Andreas will speak at the Green Cities Conference in March.
Co-hosted annually by the Green Building Council and the Property Council, Green Cities is a celebration of disruptive ideas and is Australia’s leading sustainability conference for the built environment.
John will speak on day two at ‘design disturbance’ – a dynamic panel session which will showcase seven disruptive ideas with regard to sustainable design and truly great buildings.
As the design architect on the ground-breaking and innovative Northern Beaches Christian School project, John will speak about ‘the architecture of spaces: meeting the vision for a new learning model’.
The project delivered a unique, interactive indoor-outdoor learning environment designed for multiple learning modes and non-hierarchical interaction – all beneath a spectacular canopy that generates energy, harvests rainwater, and cools the spaces below.
Green Cities will be held in Sydney 22-24 March.
