Canberra Park is a purpose-built group accommodation complex, comprising student accommodation, and a new Caravan park addition of 73 caravan sites. WMK is engaged to design the Camp Kitchen and Dining Hall, and Amenities block for the caravan sites. Canberra park is developed and owned by Free Spirit Investments.
The Camp Kitchen camp offers internal and external cooking options, BBQs, a fully equipped guest laundry and an amenity block complete with a family bathroom and accessible facilities.
Mr Andrew Barr MLA, Chief Minister Australian Capital Territory, officially launched the new development by turning the first soil at 9.30am on Thursday 30 January.
The project is expected to be completed by June 2020.
