WMK attended the official opening of Barangaroo Reserve, which was opened by the Premier of NSW and joined by the former Australian Prime Minister. The opening gave the public a chance to explore the new space and to be involved in activities throughout the day.
The Reserve includes new walkways capturing breathtaking views of Sydney’s prestigious harbour, while featuring 75,000 native plants and individually crafted sandstone blocks which have been placed within the reserve including the foreshore. WMK co-ordinated with an extensive team of specialist consultants to deliver a new cultural space ‘The Cutaway’ which sits within Barangaroo Reserve. The space also includes a carpark below, skylights, an existing sandstone escarpment and is designed to be flexible.
A magnificent and successful addition to the Sydney Harbour that can be enjoyed by many generations to come.
