As part of a major reinvention of one the country’s largest health fund and life insurance organisation’s headquarters, WMK delivered the design for an integrated fit-out and base build upgrade for HCF’s Sydney head office. 


The new spaces were to closely tie in with the company’s brand values of health and wellbeing.

Each floor reinforces on health and wellbeing, with green planting throughout, sit-to-stand workstations, and a choice of colourful and varied breakout spaces to support HCF’s ‘no eating at desks’ policy.


Floors are connected via a vibrant central stair with integrated lighting, to encourage teamwork and collaboration. 


Managers are now seated in an open plan environment to further encourage communication and openness.

In line with targets, the base build has achieved a five-star Greenstar rating.


The delivered floors of HCF’s premises offer a vibrant and connected working environment that facilitates communication and interaction.


New end-of-trip facilities offer a useful service for employees while tying in closely with HCF’s health and wellbeing positioning.


The remainder of the building upgrade continues at pace.
