Johnny Fongs is now open!

Mounties latest dining destination, Johnny Fongs, is open for culinary delights.

With fresh and contemporary interiors and a bold brand identity, all designed by WMK, the 300-seat restaurant serves modern Chinese cuisine and yum cha.

Breaking away from the typical club restaurant experience, WMK has created a design that celebrates Asian street food culture within a casual atmosphere. The design features graffiti art, bold patterned features, copper detailing, and neon lighting. Diners can enjoy watching dumplings being hand crafted in the show kitchen.

WMK worked with Mounties, MPA and Pure Projects to not only create the interiors, but to develop a confident brand identity that features throughout the venue.

With two private dining rooms, a range of seating areas, and fresh interiors, the new restaurant is proving to big hit at the club.

Johnny Fongs is open seven days for lunch and dinner.

Tennis By The Bay

This February, WMK took part in ‘Tennis By The Bay’ hosted by Prototype Commercial Furniture.

The event was an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of round robin tennis, and meet fellow designers, architects and property professionals. In keeping with tennis tradition, the dress code was ‘all white’.

WMK took part in doubles tennis, with Interior Designer Troy Andronicos and Architect Steven Whisker forming one team going up against Architect Todd Read with Project Manager Adam Pinches from Horizon Habitats.

Troy and Steven were knocked out before the finals games, While Todd and Adam went on to the Grand final which they lost 9 -13 in an epic final.

Interior Designer Melanie Wright was the main spectator, helping to hydrate the two finalists.
