WMK Brisbane recently celebrated the graduation of Peta Fox who received a Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) majoring in Industrial Design from QUT. On top of finishing her degree Peta also received numerous accolades including “4th Year Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) Award for People + Place Design”.
Peta particularly enjoyed working on her final year research project and design for a new aged care facility for grey nomads in Mooloolaba. “I would love to eventually work within the aged care sector or similar sectors where people are spending large amounts of time in the spaces created,” says Peta.
Although Peta says she wasn’t expecting there to be as much collaboration on projects when she began her Interior Design degree, it is something she clearly excels at for she also received an award for “Outstanding Achievement in Professional Practice Collaboration” from the QUT School of Design.
