WMK's Sam Champtaloup, a graduate architect, avid mountain bike rider and down to earth genuinely nice guy, sported an impressive 'man bun'. Well he did, until...
Sam chopped off his locks for a very good cause on Sunday 29th September.
The hair has been donated to Variety - the children's charity and will be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child's youth. By donating to Variety - the children's charity, donors can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need.
Sam's fundraising efforts exceeded double the original goal reaching over $3,000.
